Stainless steel shots

stainless steel shot

Stainless steel shots abrasives produced by spraying molten cast -steel with additional chrome, nickel, silicon and manganese. Produced stainless steel shot are high quality, very durable and cost-effective.

Application:

Stainless steel shots are used in all applications where ferrous residue is a disadvantage or undesired. Stainless steel shot prevents of formation of ferrous contamination and rust color on the surface of aluminium castings, which usually occurs after processing with ordinary steel shots. Stainless steel shots blasting eliminates the necessity of further cleaning of processed casting by chemical cleaning or additional blasting.

Stainless steel shots are used in both turbine and compressed air blasting systems. Suitable for blast cleaning, deburring, surface finishing, surface-improvement of:

All types of aluminum castings and forgings

     Zinc pressure die castings

     Non-ferrous metals and special alloys

     Stainless steel castings and forgings

     Titanium or nickel-based alloys

Machinery or welded structures in stainless steel

     Concrete and natural stone

Advantages:

Stainless steel shots distinguish itself by having a high percentage of spherical grains and by its compactness. Stainless steel shot exceptional properties are durability, low consumption, short blasting time, high productivity, low wear of equipment, no dust.
